Ingredients
For Puff Pastry
- ¾ cup (75 g) all-purpose flour
- ½ cup (130 ml) water
- Pinch of salt
- 3.5 tbsp (50 g) butter
- 2 large eggs
For Custard Cream
- 2 egg yolks
- ¾ cup (200 ml) milk
- ¼ cup (50 g) sugar
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp butter
For Whipped Cream
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract

- Make puff pastry: In a saucepan, bring water, butter, and salt to a boil. Add flour, stir until dough forms. Cool slightly, then beat in eggs one at a time until smooth. Pipe or spoon onto baking sheet. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden and puffed. Cool completely.
- Prepare custard: Whisk yolks, sugar, and cornstarch. Heat milk until warm, then slowly whisk into yolk mixture. Cook over medium heat until thickened. Remove from heat, stir in butter and vanilla. Cool.
- Whip cream: Beat heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Assemble: Slice puff pastry shells. Fill with custard cream, then top with whipped cream. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
