Creamy Garlic Parmesan Steak and Shrimp 🥩🍤✨
A luxurious surf-and-turf dish with juicy steak, tender shrimp, and a rich garlic Parmesan sauce.
Ingredients
For the Steak
- 2 filet mignon or ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
For the Shrimp
- 12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Juice of ½ lemon
Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Cook the Steak: Season steaks with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to preferred doneness. Remove, tent with foil, and rest.
- Cook the Shrimp: Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. In the same skillet, cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
- Make the Sauce: Melt butter in the skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Simmer 3–5 minutes until thickened. Stir in parsley.
- Serve: Plate steak and shrimp, spoon sauce generously over the top, and garnish with parsley and Parmesan.
