Ingredients

For the Steak

  • 2 filet mignon or ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

For the Shrimp

  • 12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Juice of ½ lemon

Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Cook the Steak: Season steaks with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to preferred doneness. Remove, tent with foil, and rest.
  2. Cook the Shrimp: Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. In the same skillet, cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce: Melt butter in the skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Simmer 3–5 minutes until thickened. Stir in parsley.
  4. Serve: Plate steak and shrimp, spoon sauce generously over the top, and garnish with parsley and Parmesan.
