Ingredients

  • 2 cups warm milk (not hot)
  • ½ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp instant yeast
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1½ tsp salt
  • 6–7 cups all-purpose flour (start with 6, add more if needed)

Instructions

  1. Blend Wet Ingredients: In a blender, combine warm milk, oil (or butter), sugar, yeast, eggs, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  2. Add Flour: Pour mixture into a large bowl. Gradually add flour, 1 cup at a time, mixing until a soft dough forms. The dough should be slightly sticky but manageable.
  3. Knead: Knead dough on a floured surface for 6–8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. First Rise: Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1–1½ hours, or until doubled in size.
  5. Shape Rolls: Punch down dough and divide into 24 equal portions. Shape into balls and place on greased or parchment-lined baking sheets.
  6. Second Rise: Cover rolls loosely and let rise for 30–40 minutes until puffy.
  7. Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 18–22 minutes, until golden brown on top.
