Ingredients
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups farfalle (bow-tie pasta)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1½ cups smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnish
Instructions
- Sauté: In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cook until fragrant.
- Add Sausage: Stir in smoked sausage and cook until lightly browned.
- Simmer: Add chicken broth, cream, paprika, salt, pepper, and pasta. Stir well.
- Cook: Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer 12–15 min until pasta is tender.
