- 6–10 drops green gel food coloring
- Optional: ¼ tsp lemon zest, pinch of salt
For Topping & Garnish
- 1 cup chilled heavy whipping cream + 1 tbsp powdered sugar (or store-bought whipped topping)
- 12 red heart-shaped candies
Instructions
- Prep & Line: Line a 12-cup muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- Make Crust: Mix crumbs and melted butter until sandy. Divide among liners (~1 tbsp each). Press firmly. Chill.
- Prepare Filling: Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, sour cream, vanilla, and optional zest/salt. Mix until glossy. Add green food coloring until bold Grinch green.
- Fill & Smooth: Spoon or pipe filling over crusts (~2–2.5 tbsp each). Smooth tops.
- Chill Thoroughly: Refrigerate at least 4 hours (overnight best).
- Finish with Flair: Whip cream and sugar to medium-stiff peaks. Dollop on each cheesecake. Press a red heart candy in the center.
