Ingredients

- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- 6 large flour tortillas
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Cook Filling: In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Season: Add garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir well and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Assemble: Spoon beef mixture onto tortillas. Add cheese, then fold into burrito-style wraps.
- Fry: Heat oil in a pan. Fry chimichangas seam-side down until golden and crispy on all sides. Drain on paper towels.
