🍓 Strawberry Cheesecake Donut Holes 🧁✨
Soft, golden donut bites filled with creamy cheesecake and topped with a sweet strawberry glaze!
Ingredients
For the Donut Holes
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
For the Cheesecake Filling
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Strawberry Glaze
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam or puree
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp milk (to thin)
Instructions
- Prepare Dough: In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, vanilla, and eggs. Combine wet and dry ingredients into a smooth batter.
- Fry Donut Holes: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Drop spoonfuls of batter into oil. Fry until golden, 2–3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
- Make Filling: Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Transfer to piping bag.
- Fill Donuts: Once cooled, poke a small hole in each donut and pipe cheesecake filling inside.
- Glaze: Mix strawberry jam, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth. Dip or drizzle over donut holes.
- Serve: Chill slightly to set glaze, then enjoy!
