Creamy Pralines & White Chocolate Fudge 🍬
A rich, indulgent treat combining smooth white chocolate fudge with a crunchy praline topping.
Ingredients
- 12 oz white chocolate chips
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 cups fine granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups roughly chopped pecans
Directions
- White Chocolate Base: Melt white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly for 5–8 minutes until smooth. Pour into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and let set.
- Praline Topping: In a large pot, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, sea salt, evaporated milk, and butter. Heat over medium-high, stirring until sugars dissolve and mixture boils.
- Continue stirring until mixture reaches 235°F (softball stage) on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat and cool for 5 minutes.
- Stir in vanilla extract and chopped pecans until mixture thickens slightly and loses its glossy sheen.
- Spoon praline mixture over the white chocolate fudge, pressing into an even layer. Use a spatula to fold edges toward the center for a marbled effect, then smooth the top.
- Allow fudge to cool completely at room temperature before cutting into 1-inch squares.
Tips
- Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to praline mixture for a warm, spiced flavor.
- Stir praline mixture constantly at softball stage to ensure smooth texture and prevent crystallization.
