French Dip Squares
Ingredients
- 1 package (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 pound thinly sliced roast beef
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the Crescent Rolls: Unroll crescent rolls and separate into triangles. Arrange on parchment-lined baking sheet with points inward and bases overlapping to form a rectangle.
- Layer the Ingredients: Place roast beef evenly over crescent rolls. Add provolone slices on top.
- Fold the Rolls: Fold points of crescent rolls over cheese and beef, pinching seams to seal.
- Brush with Butter: Brush melted butter over dough.
- Bake: Bake 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare the Dipping Sauce: In a saucepan, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Heat until warm.
- Serve: Cool squares slightly, cut, and serve warm with dipping sauce.
