Chocolate Salami 🍫
Ingredients
- 200g plain tea biscuits (broken into small pieces)
- 100g unsalted butter (softened)
- 100g sugar
- 50g cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp milk
- 100g dark chocolate (melted)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar (for coating)
Instructions
- Prepare the biscuits: Break the biscuits into small bite-sized pieces and place them in a large bowl.
- Make the chocolate mixture: In another bowl, mix softened butter, sugar, cocoa powder, melted chocolate, milk, and vanilla until smooth and glossy.
- Combine: Pour the chocolate mixture over the biscuits and mix until everything is evenly coated.
- Shape the salami: Transfer the mixture to parchment paper and shape it into a log. Roll tightly and wrap well.
- Chill: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) until firm.
- Serve: Roll in powdered sugar to resemble salami, slice, and enjoy!
Tips
- For extra flavor, add chopped nuts, dried fruits, or a splash of rum.
- Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 2 months.
