🍗 Crispy Mashed Potato Drumsticks

These Crispy Mashed Potato Drumsticks are a fun and delicious twist on classic fried chicken! Made with creamy mashed potatoes wrapped around chicken bones, coated in breadcrumbs, and fried to golden perfection — crispy on the outside, soft and cheesy inside.

📝 Ingredients:

  • 6 chicken drumsticks (bones cleaned)
  • 3 large potatoes (boiled and mashed)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix mashed potatoes with butter, salt, pepper, and shredded cheese.
  2. Take a handful of potato mixture and wrap it around the cleaned chicken bone to form a drumstick shape.
  3. Chill the shaped drumsticks for 15–20 minutes to firm up.
  4. Dip each drumstick into beaten egg, then roll in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  5. Heat oil and deep-fry the drumsticks until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Place on paper towels to remove excess oil.
