Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or mix)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 400 g cooked pasta (macaroni or penne)
  • 300 g mixed seafood (shrimp, crab, scallops, etc.), cooked
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs

Instructions 👩‍🍳

  1. Make roux: Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add flour and whisk 1–2 minutes.
  2. Add milk: Slowly pour in milk while whisking. Cook 5–7 minutes until thickened.
  3. Add cheese: Stir in shredded cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Combine: Add cooked pasta and seafood. Stir gently to coat evenly.
  5. Prepare bake: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Transfer mixture to baking dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
  6. Bake: Bake 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Serve: Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.
