Ingredients
- 1 pound (450 g) pizza dough
- 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ cup Alfredo sauce
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions 👩🍳
- Preheat oven: 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare filling: In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Shape calzones: Divide pizza dough into 4 portions. Roll each into a circle. Spoon filling onto one half, fold over, and seal edges with a fork.
- Egg wash: Brush tops with beaten egg for golden crust.
- Bake: Place calzones on baking sheet. Bake 18–20 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley. Enjoy hot with extra Alfredo sauce for dipping.
