Easy Homemade Ice Cream 🍨🍫✨
Rich, creamy flavor with a decadent truffle ganache swirl—made with just a handful of ingredients.
Ingredients
For the Ice Cream Base
- 2 cans sweetened condensed milk (approx. 800 g / 28 oz)
- 2 cartons heavy cream (400 g / 14 oz)
- 1 cup powdered milk (100 g / 3.5 oz)
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
For the Truffle Ganache
- 200 g (7 oz) semi-sweet or milk chocolate
- ½ carton heavy cream (100 g / 3.5 oz)
Instructions
- Prepare the ice cream base: In a large bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold in condensed milk, powdered milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Make the ganache: Heat cream until just simmering. Pour over chopped chocolate. Stir until melted and glossy. Let cool slightly.
- Assemble: Pour half of the ice cream base into a freezer-safe container. Drizzle ganache over. Add remaining ice cream base and swirl gently with a knife for a marbled effect.
- Freeze: Cover and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight until firm.
- Serve: Scoop into bowls or cones. Enjoy rich, creamy ice cream with chocolate truffle ribbons.
Tips
- Extra indulgent: Add chopped nuts or cookie chunks before freezing.
- Flavor twist: Swap vanilla for almond or coffee extract.
- Storage: Keep covered in freezer up to 2 weeks.
