Ingredients (Makes 12)
- 1 package Original King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
- 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup cold milk
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream, divided
- ÂĽ cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Prepare the Cream Filling: Whisk pudding mix with cold milk until smooth. Let stand 5 minutes. Whip ½ cup heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Fold into pudding to make custard. Transfer to piping bag.
- Prepare the Rolls: Separate rolls. Poke a hole into the side of each roll using a finger or spoon handle. Place on parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Fill the Rolls: Insert piping bag tip into each roll and squeeze custard inside until slightly heavy. Avoid overfilling.
- Make the Chocolate Ganache: Heat remaining ½ cup cream until hot. Pour over chocolate chips, let sit 1 minute, then stir until smooth and glossy.
- Glaze and Serve: Dip tops of filled rolls into ganache, twisting for even coat. Let excess drip off. Return to baking sheet and allow chocolate to set 5 minutes before serving.
