Ingredients

For the chicken

  • 2 lbs chicken tenders, thighs, or breast (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Wooden or metal skewers

For the garlic parmesan butter sauce

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • ½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional, for heat)
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep chicken: Toss chicken pieces with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Thread onto skewers.
  2. Cook: Grill or bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15–20 minutes until golden and cooked through (internal temp 165°F/74°C).
  3. Make sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in parmesan, parsley, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush & serve: Brush hot chicken skewers generously with garlic parmesan butter sauce. Sprinkle extra parmesan and parsley before serving.

Tips

  • Soak wooden skewers: If using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes before grilling.
  • Extra flavor: Marinate chicken in olive oil, garlic, and herbs for 1–2 hours before cooking.
  • Serving idea: Pair with roasted veggies or a fresh salad.
