A quick, flavorful stir-fry with tender chicken, earthy shiitake mushrooms, and crisp broccoli tossed in a savory sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- ΒΌ cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Marinate Chicken: In a bowl, combine chicken strips, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Cook Chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- SautΓ© Vegetables: Add shiitake mushrooms, broccoli, garlic, and ginger to the skillet. Cook 2β3 minutes until softened slightly.
- Add Sauce: Pour in chicken broth, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Simmer 2β3 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Combine: Return chicken to skillet. Stir to coat with vegetables and sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve: Garnish with green onions if desired. Serve hot with rice.
