Mountain Dew Apple Dumplings 🍏🥤

Flaky crescent rolls wrapped around apples, baked in a sweet buttery cinnamon syrup with Mountain Dew.

Ingredients

  • 2 large apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled and cut into wedges
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 1 can (12 oz) Mountain Dew

Instructions

  1. Prep Apples: Peel and slice apples into wedges.
  2. Wrap: Roll each apple wedge in a crescent roll triangle and place in a greased 9×13 baking dish.
  3. Mix Syrup: In a bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Pour evenly over dumplings.
  4. Add Mountain Dew: Pour Mountain Dew around (not over) the dumplings in the dish.
  5. Bake: Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35–40 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Serve: Enjoy warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
