Ingredients

Cookie Dough

  • 1 cup (230 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup (200 g) brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2½ cups (310 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt

Add-ins

  • 1½ cups (260 g) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (120 g) chopped pecans
  • 15 soft caramel candies, halved

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream Butter & Sugars: Beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
  3. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture until combined.
