Shrimp and Steak Tacos 🌮🍤🥩
Juicy steak and tender shrimp come together in these vibrant tacos, finished with lime for a zesty kick.
Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8–10 small corn tortillas
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Juice of 2 limes
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Optional toppings: diced onion, fresh cilantro, salsa, avocado
Instructions
- Marinate: Toss steak and shrimp with olive oil, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Let sit for 15–20 minutes.
- Cook Steak: Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook steak slices 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Cook Shrimp: In the same pan, cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Warm Tortillas: Heat tortillas in a dry skillet or directly over a flame until lightly charred.
- Assemble Tacos: Fill tortillas with steak and shrimp. Top with onion, cilantro, salsa, or avocado as desired.
- Serve: Squeeze extra lime juice over tacos and enjoy immediately.
