Chocolate Coating
- 12 oz dark or semi-sweet chocolate melting wafers
- Optional: 1 tsp coconut oil (for shine and smoother dip)

- Make the Filling: Mix powdered sugar, corn syrup, butter, peppermint extract, and salt until a thick dough forms. Adjust texture with water or powdered sugar if needed.
- Shape Patties: Roll into 1-inch balls (~15 g each), flatten into ¼-inch discs. Place on parchment tray and freeze 30 minutes.
- Melt Chocolate: Microwave chocolate (and coconut oil if using) at 50% power in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Dip & Set: Coat patties in chocolate using fork. Tap off excess. Sprinkle with crushed candy cane or glitter if desired. Let set at room temp or chill 10 minutes.
