📋 Ingredients

Peppermint Center

  • 1½ cups (180 g) powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp light corn syrup
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ tsp pure peppermint extract
  • Pinch of fine sea salt

Chocolate Coating

  • 12 oz dark or semi-sweet chocolate melting wafers
  • Optional: 1 tsp coconut oil (for shine and smoother dip)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Make the Filling: Mix powdered sugar, corn syrup, butter, peppermint extract, and salt until a thick dough forms. Adjust texture with water or powdered sugar if needed.
  2. Shape Patties: Roll into 1-inch balls (~15 g each), flatten into ¼-inch discs. Place on parchment tray and freeze 30 minutes.
  3. Melt Chocolate: Microwave chocolate (and coconut oil if using) at 50% power in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  4. Dip & Set: Coat patties in chocolate using fork. Tap off excess. Sprinkle with crushed candy cane or glitter if desired. Let set at room temp or chill 10 minutes.
  5. Store & Serve: Keep in airtight container at cool room temp up to 1 week, or refrigerate for longer. Bring to room temp before serving.
