Ingredients

For the Fritters

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)

For the Glaze

  • 1½ cups powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, beat eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Combine: Add wet mixture to dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in diced apples.
  5. Shape Fritters: Drop spoonfuls of batter onto baking sheet, spacing them apart. Flatten slightly if needed.
  6. Bake: Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and cooked through. Let cool slightly.
  7. Make Glaze: Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over warm fritters.
