Ingredients

  • ½ medium onion, finely diced

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • 12–14 egg roll wrappers
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

For the Dipping Sauce

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp lemon juice or vinegar
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook Filling: In a skillet, cook ground beef with onion and garlic until browned. Season with salt and pepper. Let cool slightly, then mix in shredded cheese.
  2. Assemble Rolls: Place 2 tbsp of filling in center of each wrapper. Fold and roll tightly, sealing edges with water.
  3. Fry: Heat oil in a deep pan. Fry egg rolls until golden and crispy (about 2–3 min per side). Drain on paper towels.
  4. Make Sauce: Mix all sauce ingredients until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  5. Serve: Plate egg rolls with dipping sauce. Enjoy hot and melty!
