Ingredients
- 150 g dark chocolate
- 150 g crushed speculoos
- 200 g grated pears (â2 medium pears)
- 100 g sugar
- 150 g flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 sachet chemical yeast
- 100 g melted butter
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set oven to 180°C (350°F). Line cake mold with parchment paper.
- Whisk Base: Beat eggs with sugar until light and bubbly.
- Add Butter: Stir in melted butter gently.
- Add Pears: Mix grated pears into batter.
- Dry Mix: In another bowl, sift flour, yeast, and salt. Gradually fold into wet mixture.
- Chocolate: Melt chocolate and stir into batter vigorously.
- Speculoos: Add crushed speculoos and mix until homogeneous.
- Bake: Pour batter into mold, smooth surface. Bake 40â45 min until toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool: Let cake cool a few minutes before unmolding.
