Ingredients

For the Crust

  • 1 cup (90 g) graham cracker crumbs, finely crushed
  • 4 tbsp (57 g) unsalted butter, melted

For the Cheesecake Filling

  • 8 oz (226 g) full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • ⅓ cup (65 g) granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup (60 g) full-fat sour cream
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 6–10 drops green gel food coloring
  • Optional: ¼ tsp lemon zest, pinch of salt

For Topping & Garnish

  • 1 cup chilled heavy whipping cream + 1 tbsp powdered sugar (or store-bought whipped topping)
  • 12 red heart-shaped candies

Instructions

  1. Prep & Line: Line a 12-cup muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. Make Crust: Mix crumbs and melted butter until sandy. Divide among liners (~1 tbsp each). Press firmly. Chill.
  3. Prepare Filling: Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, sour cream, vanilla, and optional zest/salt. Mix until glossy. Add green food coloring until bold Grinch green.
  4. Fill & Smooth: Spoon or pipe filling over crusts (~2–2.5 tbsp each). Smooth tops.
  5. Chill Thoroughly: Refrigerate at least 4 hours (overnight best).
  6. Finish with Flair: Whip cream and sugar to medium-stiff peaks. Dollop on each cheesecake. Press a red heart candy in the center.
  7. Serve & Smile: Arrange on a festive platter. Best served chilled.
