Ingredients
For the Cupcakes
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup milk
For Decoration
- Green colored buttercream (for tree shape)
- White buttercream (for base layer)
- Small colored candy balls
- Red candy stars
Method
- Prepare Cupcakes: Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a tray with cupcake liners. Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in one bowl. In another, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one by one, then vanilla. Alternate adding dry mix and milk. Divide into liners and bake 18–20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Decorate: Pipe a small layer of white buttercream on each cupcake. Using a star tip, pipe green buttercream into a tree shape. Decorate with candy balls and top with a red candy star.
- Serve: Arrange on a festive plate and enjoy!
