Ingredients
For the Dough
- 1 cup whole milk (warm, about 110°F)
- 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast (1 packet)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 4 cups all-purpose flour (plus extra for dusting)
For the Filling
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup strawberry jam or preserves
- 1/2 cup diced fresh strawberries (optional)
For the Topping
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2–3 tbsp milk (adjust for consistency)
- 1/2 cup strawberry crunch topping (Golden Oreos + freeze-dried strawberries)
Instructions
- Prepare Dough: Mix warm milk and yeast. Let sit 5 minutes. Add sugar, butter, salt, eggs, and 2 cups flour. Mix until smooth. Add remaining flour and knead 5 minutes. Let rise 1–1.5 hours until doubled.
- Assemble Rolls: Roll dough into 16Ă—12-inch rectangle. Spread cream cheese, then jam, and sprinkle strawberries. Roll tightly and slice into 12 pieces.
- Bake: Place rolls in greased 9×13-inch dish. Let rise 30–40 minutes. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes. Cool slightly.
- Make Frosting: Beat powdered sugar, cream cheese, butter, and milk until smooth. Adjust consistency as needed.
- Finish & Serve: Spread frosting over warm rolls. Sprinkle with strawberry crunch topping. Enjoy!
