Soft, golden donut bites filled with creamy cheesecake and topped with a sweet strawberry glaze!

Ingredients

For the Donut Holes

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

For the Cheesecake Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Strawberry Glaze

  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam or puree
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1–2 tbsp milk (to thin)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Dough: In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, vanilla, and eggs. Combine wet and dry ingredients into a smooth batter.
  2. Fry Donut Holes: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Drop spoonfuls of batter into oil. Fry until golden, 2–3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
  3. Make Filling: Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Transfer to piping bag.
  4. Fill Donuts: Once cooled, poke a small hole in each donut and pipe cheesecake filling inside.
  5. Glaze: Mix strawberry jam, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth. Dip or drizzle over donut holes.
  6. Serve: Chill slightly to set glaze, then enjoy!
