Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 2 (21 oz) cans strawberry pie filling
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the dish.
- In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spoon dollops over pie filling.
- Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the top.
- Drizzle melted butter evenly over cake mix layer, covering as much as possible.
- Bake 45–50 minutes, until top is golden and bubbling.
- Cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
