☕🍪 Cozy Hot Cocoa Cookies ❄️
Soft, chocolatey cookies loaded with cocoa mix, chocolate chips, and Mallow Bits—perfect for cozy nights!
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup Mallow Bits (mini marshmallows not recommended)
- 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 4 packages hot cocoa mix (or 3/4 cup, not sugar-free)
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Directions
1️⃣ Mix Butter and Sugars
- In a large bowl, beat softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
2️⃣ Combine Dry Ingredients
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, hot cocoa mix, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
- Gradually add dry mixture to butter mixture until fully combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips and Mallow Bits.
3️⃣ Chill the Dough
- Cover dough and chill in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (up to 24 hours).
4️⃣ Preheat Oven & Prepare Sheets
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Drop 2-tbsp portions of dough onto lined baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
5️⃣ Bake the Cookies
- Bake for 9–11 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
