Ingredients
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz egg noodles
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Prepare the noodles: In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant. Add chicken broth and heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer.
- Cook the noodles: Stir in egg noodles, cover skillet, and cook 8–10 minutes until tender. Stir occasionally.
- Combine ingredients: Reduce heat to low. Add butter and Parmesan, stirring until melted and creamy. Return chicken to skillet and heat through for 2–3 minutes.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley if desired. Serve warm with plenty of creamy sauce.
