Spinach Garlic Meatballs Stuffed with Mozzarella 🧄🧀🥩

Juicy, cheesy, and packed with flavor—these stuffed meatballs are perfect for pasta night or as a party appetizer!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or a mix of beef and pork)
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mixture: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, spinach, garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Stuff with mozzarella: Take 1–2 tbsp of the mixture, flatten in your palm, place a mozzarella cube in the center, and wrap the meat around it. Seal completely and roll into a ball. Repeat with remaining mixture.
  3. Cook: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs in batches, without overcrowding. Cook 4–5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
  4. Serve: Enjoy warm with marinara sauce for dipping or over pasta. Garnish with extra Parmesan and fresh basil if desired.
