Egg Tarts
Ingredients
Tart Shells
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp white sugar
- 1/2 cup salted butter, softened but firm
- 2 tbsp cold milk
Filling
- 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
- 3/4 cup condensed milk (more if preferred)
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Chill dough for 30 minutes.
- Form dough into molders using fingers, covering the whole mold.
- Bake tart shells in pan (Kawali) for 25 minutes at low heat.
- Remove shells and add filling.
- Bake for 30 minutes at low heat.
- Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
