Classic melt-in-your-mouth cookies coated in powdered sugar β a timeless treat everyone still loves!
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 5 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp fine-grain sea salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups finely chopped walnuts, almonds, or pecans
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
Directions
- Blend: Mix softened butter with granulated sugar until creamy. Add vanilla.
- Mix: Stir in salt, flour, and chopped nuts until dough forms.
- Shape: Form dough into 1-inch balls or flatten slightly. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake: Bake at 325Β°F (160Β°C) for 20 minutes.
- Coat: While hot, roll cookies in powdered sugar. Let cool, then roll again for a snowy finish.
