  • 1/2 head cabbage, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 4–6 cups vegetable broth or water
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1 tsp dried herbs (thyme, oregano, or Italian seasoning)
