Fruit Custard Trifle 🍓🍑
Ingredients:
- 2 cups mixed fruits (strawberries, peaches, mangoes, etc.)
- 2 cups vanilla custard
- 1 cup sponge cake or ladyfingers, cut into cubes
- 1/2 cup fruit syrup or fruit juice
- 1/2 cup fruit jam (strawberry or berry flavor)
Instructions:
- In a large bowl or trifle dish, place a layer of sponge cake cubes.
- Drizzle the fruit syrup or juice over the cake to moisten it.
- Spread a layer of fruit jam on top of the cake.
- Add a layer of vanilla custard over the jam.
- Top with mixed fruits.
- Repeat the layers if desired, finishing with a custard and fruit layer.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
