Ingredients:

  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil or butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped chives or parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Boil the sliced potatoes for 5–7 minutes until slightly tender, then drain and let cool.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the oil or butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the onions and cook until they start to caramelize.
  4. Add the boiled potatoes and fry until golden and crispy.
