Chocolate Oat Bars
Introduction: These no-bake chocolate oat bars are rich, chewy, and layered with creamy chocolate. Perfect for a quick dessert or snack that everyone will love!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup peanut butter (or any nut butter)
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup coconut oil or butter
- 1 cup dark or milk chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, melt the coconut oil, honey, and peanut butter over low heat until smooth. Stir in vanilla and salt.
- Add the oats and mix well until fully coated.
- Press half of the oat mixture into a lined baking dish.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler and pour over the oat layer.
- Top with the remaining oat mixture and press gently.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
- Cut into bars and serve chilled.
