🥬 Stuffed Cabbage Rolls with Meat & Rice 🍲
Ingredients:
- 1 medium cabbage
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef or ground pork
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (for topping, optional)
Instructions:
- Carefully remove cabbage leaves and boil them for 2–3 minutes until soft, then drain.
- In a bowl, mix ground meat, rice, onion, garlic, egg, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place a spoonful of the filling onto each cabbage leaf and roll tightly, folding in the sides.
- Arrange the rolls seam side down in a baking dish.
- Pour tomato sauce over the rolls and cover with foil.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 45 minutes.
- Uncover, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for another 10 minutes until golden.
Tip: Serve hot with fresh parsley on top 🌿.
