🥬 Stuffed Cabbage Rolls with Meat & Rice 🍲

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium cabbage
  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef or ground pork
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (for topping, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Carefully remove cabbage leaves and boil them for 2–3 minutes until soft, then drain.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground meat, rice, onion, garlic, egg, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place a spoonful of the filling onto each cabbage leaf and roll tightly, folding in the sides.
  4. Arrange the rolls seam side down in a baking dish.
  5. Pour tomato sauce over the rolls and cover with foil.
  6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 45 minutes.
  7. Uncover, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for another 10 minutes until golden.

Tip: Serve hot with fresh parsley on top 🌿.
