π« Chocolate Frosting
Introduction
This creamy and rich chocolate frosting is perfect for cakes, cupcakes, cookies or any dessert you want to give a decadent chocolate touch. Itβs smooth, fluffy and full of chocolate flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 cup (230g) unsalted butter, softened
 - 3 cups (360g) powdered sugar
 - 3/4 cup (75g) unsweetened cocoa powder
 - 1/4 cup (60ml) heavy cream (more if needed)
 - 2 tsp vanilla extract
 - Pinch of salt
 
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with an electric mixer until creamy.
 - Add cocoa powder and powdered sugar gradually, beating on low until combined.
 - Pour in the heavy cream, vanilla and salt. Beat on medium-high for 2β3 minutes until light and fluffy.
 - If the frosting is too thick, add a little more cream; if too thin, add more powdered sugar.
 - Use immediately to frost cakes, cupcakes, or store in the fridge up to 1 week.
 
Tips
- For extra glossy frosting, use high quality cocoa or melted chocolate.
 - You can substitute heavy cream with milk but texture will be lighter.
