🍗 Extra Crispy Fried Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the chicken in buttermilk for at least 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Remove chicken from buttermilk and dredge in the flour mixture until well coated.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan to 175°C (350°F).
  5. Fry chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 12–15 minutes.
  6. Place fried chicken on a wire rack to drain excess oil.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
