🍗 Extra Crispy Fried Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
- Marinate the chicken in buttermilk for at least 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Remove chicken from buttermilk and dredge in the flour mixture until well coated.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 175°C (350°F).
- Fry chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 12–15 minutes.
- Place fried chicken on a wire rack to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
