Beef stir-fry with onions and bell peppers is a classic dish found in many Asian-inspired kitchens. Known for its rich, savory flavor, colorful vegetables, and tender slices of beef, it’s a quick yet satisfying meal. Ingredients

For the Beef Marinade:

  • 500 g beef steak (sirloin or flank), thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornflour (cornstarch)
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • Β½ tsp black pepper

For the Stir-Fry:

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • Soy-based sauce of your choice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine beef with marinade ingredients. Let sit 15–30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a wok or large pan over medium-high heat. Sear beef until browned, remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sautΓ© onion and bell peppers until slightly softened.
  4. Return beef to the pan, add sauce, and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until everything is coated and heated through.
  5. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
